With a great selection of power drives, couplings and rack & pinion units, Lock is able to guarantee optimum quality right down the driveline. This has a beneficial impact on the bottom line and, in the long-term, it reduces service costs.

The strengths power, range of choice and modularity also apply to the product family of rack & pinion units, the EZD, AZD and ZSG ranges. With loads of 500 to 2500 N you can move anything from a simple polytunnel to the heavy double-glazed panels in a wide-span greenhouse and all types of roof and side ventilation systems.

If you need to get a move on, even the standard EWA drives can operate at up to 10 rpm. Things get even faster with the Speed-Logic, with up to 15 rpm, e.g. for open-roof vent systems.

These are the advantages of the LZG rack & pinion gear units:

Compact, stable cast housing, from 10,000 N with hardened gear components.
LZG 20 and LZG 24 have the same gear ratio and can therefore be used in combination.

VariVent® roller ventilation from Lock offers all of these options:

VariVent® roller ventilation guarantees high levels of operational reliability because lightweight aluminium tubes with small diameters and low-speed drive units can be used.

All systems:

can be operated in the open air
can be operated without risk of collision by our patented forced synchronization system
can be rolled singly and doubly
can have the drive unit mounted at the end or in the middle, depending on the required length of ventilation
are simple to convert from manual to power drive
can be controlled fully automatically by temperature, wind and rain

A single drive unit is all that is required for a building length of 100 meters at an opening height of max. five meters.

EazyVent®

EazyVent® delivers top–opening ventilation and the lifting up of rolled sheeting from bottom to top.

The top edge of the fabric is lowered and/or raised by means of a central shaft with cable drum. These special-purpose cables are guided around the sheeting and roll up in a corresponding manner on the cable drum.

When lowering the bottom edge, this creates a loop of cable that starts to rotate the sheeting, causing it to roll up.

Function and advantages:

From above, ventilate downwards progressively more.
Up to a clear opening height of 3 m.
Move fabric upwards (summer setting) without additional drive.
Quick and easy to assemble and install.
No force needs to be introduced into the winding shaft.
No height offset on the bottom edge of the fabric.
No lateral drive technology.
Only one drive unit needed.
Manual or power drive.
Interruptions in the system (e.g. gate/ door) are possible.
Multi-layer sheeting is possible.
